Kildare GAA wish to announce that Ross Glavin has stepped down as Coach/Selector of the Kildare Senior Football Team with immediate effect due to personal family reasons.
Emmet McDonnell will join the setup as Coach/Selector. Emmet guided St Mary’s, Edenderry to the All-Ireland Colleges Senior Football Hogan Cup title in 2012 & managed the Offaly Senior Football Team from 2012 – 2014, he most recently managed Tyrrellspass (Westmeath).
We thank Ross for his commitment & dedication to Kildare GAA throughout 2020 & wish Emmet the best of luck in his new role with the team.
Emmet’s name will be brought forward to the March County Board Meeting for ratification.
