Cathal Dowling, Brian Byrne and sub Fionn Maher netted the goals for Mark Dowling’s side but it was only in the second period that they really took control.
With the backing of a strong breeze in the first 30 minutes, Martin Quilty, Tom Power, Cathal McCabe and Ciaran Dunne all pointed as they gained early control to lead 0-7 to 0-5 at the interval.
Naas got their house in order on the resumption and on the back of a brace from Jack Sheridan, the winners soon hit the front when Cathal Dowling found the net in the 38th minute. Maynoooth bounced back well but a big display from Simon Leacy and two late goals put the contest to bed as the county town captured a 14th SHC crown.
