The Management Committee of Kildare GAA is delighted to announce that they are nominating Micheál Conneff for the position of Minor Football Manager for the 2020 season. Micheál is originally from the Clane club where as a player he won numerous County Championships at all age grades. He is now a member of the Eadestown club.
Micheál will be joined on his management team by Mark Hogarty from Allenwood, John Conway from Ballymore Eustace and John O’Dwyer from Naas. Micheál and his management team have also worked with the development squads over the last number of years.
The committee is also delighted to announce that they are nominating Eoin Stapleton for the position of Minor Hurling Manager for a two-year term. Eoin is originally from the Garryspillane club in Limerick where as a player he won an All-Ireland U21 Championship in 1987. He is now a member of the Naas club and was part of the Minor Hurling management team for the last 2 years.
Eoin will be joined on his management team by Pat O’Meara from Maynooth, Mairtin Boran from Naas and Noel Ryan from Cappawhite who is also a teacher in Maynooth Post Primary School. Eoin and his management team have also worked with the development squads over the years.
Both Micheál and Eoin and their respective management teams will go before the November County Board meeting for ratification.
