The draw for the Haven Hire Senior Hurling Championship 2019 Preliminary Round will take place this Sunday at half time during the Allianz Hurling League game between Kildare and Down. The draw will be broadcast live on KFM radio.
The Preliminary Round will be an open draw, with the winners and losers of these games being divided into 2 groups (Winner and Loser Group).
The top 2 teams in the Winner group will qualify for a semi final, with team 3 qualifying for a quarter final. The top team in the Loser group will also qualify for a semi final, with team 2 qualifying for a quarter final.
Should a standalone/first team win the Intermediate championship, they will play team 4 in the Senior Loser group in a Promotion/Relegation play off. There will be no relegation play-off in the Loser group this year.
