Sunday, 8th March, saw our county Scór champions make the trip to Clonroche, Co. Wexford for the Leinster semi-finals.
There was stiff competition on the day with at least 2 All Ireland champions from last year in our side of the draw. The Short Grass competitors performed well however, and our Solo Singer (Seán Aherne, Ardclough), Céilí and Set Dancers (both Maynooth), and our Novelty Act (Milltown) made it to the final. They will join our Quiz champions (Milltown) there. Comiserations to our Recitation (Liam McDonnell, Cappagh) and our Ballad Group (Cappagh) who performed excellently, but were up against very stiff opposition.
The Leinster Final is on Sunday 22nd March in the Solstice Theatre, Navan.
