Each Club and County Board must appoint a Designated Liaison Person (DLP) who shall act as a resource, and is responsible for ensuring that reporting procedures within the Club/County are followed so that child welfare and protection concerns are referred promptly to Tusla.

The key role of the County Children’s Officer is to ensure the implementation and promotion of the Code of Behaviour (Underage) at both Club and County level so as to ensure that young people can participate, enjoy, and benefit from our Gaelic Games in safe and enjoyable surroundings.
