Monday 8th September, the Scór AGM was held in Manguard Park, Hawkfield.
A large attendance saw representatives from clubs 16 attend:
Congratulations to Rita Doyle and Seán Malone who were re-elected as Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
A provisional date of Friday 14th November was chosen for the Scór na nÓg county final (this will be confirmed in the coming days). Scór na bPáistí, which we ran for the first time in 2025, was a great success and will run again in 2026. Following feedback from schools, it was decided to run it in early March. Scór Sinsir will also be run around the same time.
County Chair, Mick Mullen, was in attendance, and he was vocal in encouraging all Kildare clubs to get involved in Scór and take part. “Scór is an integral part of the GAA, and I would encourage all clubs to make an effort to get involved. It’s a great social outlet for our members, in addition to keeping our traditions alive“.
Kildare GAA strongly encourages all clubs to take a more active role in Scór. Not all club members can play football, hurling or handball, and Scór is a great way for people of all ages to contribute to club life and maybe even bring home provincial and All Ireland glory.
Should any club require assistance in getting up and running, please let us know and we will be in contact.
