It’s the weekend we’ve all been waiting for….It’s County Final weekend!!

St. Conleth’s Park is the place to be this Sunday (15th October) for the Joe Mallon Motors Renault Senior Football Championship Final and the Manguard Plus Minor A Championship Final.

In the Joe Mallon Motors Renault Senior Football Championship Final 2016 runners up Moorefield take on 2016 semi-finalists Celbridge.

Both teams have a 100% record coming into the final having come through the winners group stages. Moorefield defeated Confey, Leixlip, Sarsfields and Athy on their route to the final while Celbridge defeated Round Towers, Sarsfields, Naas and Johnstownbridge.

Sunday’s final is a repeat of last year’s semi-final, Moorefield were the victorious side that day on a score line of 1-09 to 0-11. It was a close encounter that went down to the wire and Sunday’s final promises to be another close and exciting battle.
