Centenary of Kildare’s 1919 All-Ireland Football Victory

Kildare GAA & the Co. Kildare Decade of Commemorations Committee invites everyone to St. Conleth’s Park this Wednesday 21st August from 6.30pm for a Children’s Football Blitz (ages 10-12 years) to mark the centenary of Kildare’s 1919 All-Ireland Football victory.

The Blitz targets boys and girls aged 10-12 years from across County Kildare. Players must apply to play and will be divided into teams on the night. They are invited to dress in white for a special photo of an on the pitch formation of the numerals ‘1919’ which will be captured from above by a drone.
