KILDARE GAA AND MANGUARD PLUS LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING ALL CLUBS AND SUPPORTERS TO MANGUARD PARK

As our club championship season gets underway, Kildare GAA and Manguard Plus are looking forward to welcoming all our clubs and their supporters to Manguard Park over the 2024 Club Championship season.

After many months of training and preparation, the pride of the club jersey comes to the fore this season as ever and we have an exciting few months to look forward to.

Our amazing club talent will be seen week in and week out, battling it out for their communities, providing entertainment and generating huge community spirit.

During this special time, local heroes and legends are born and communities come together to support their teams.

Darren Hall, Director of Manguard Plus says

“Together with Kildare GAA, we look forward immensely to welcoming all Kildare Clubs and supporters to Manguard Park over the 2024 Championship season”.

“A huge amount of development has taken place at Manguard Park over the past few months which makes for a much-improved experience for players and supporters alike.”

“We signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with Kildare GAA last year and our mutual association is going from strength to strength and is proving to be very positive. As an organisation that is so embedded in the community, Kildare GAA continues to be a force for good in our community; both staff and volunteers put in huge efforts to attract, retain and grow its membership and the fruits of this can be seen in the upcoming season”.

“Personally, I am a huge fan of the work the GAA does. I have followed it all my life, I have played GAA, and I am a big supporter of encouraging young people to get involved in sport as I firmly believe that it gives them lifelong skills that can be transferred to all areas of their lives—commitment, teamwork, dedication and hard work. It gives them a sense of community, of being part of something and that is vital for all aspects of a person’s life”.

“This is more important than ever as young people are really experiencing huge pressures and stress”.

“Manguard Plus has a proud record of being a committed and genuine supporter of GAA in Co. Kildare and we look forward to this continuing and deepening”.
