Congratulations to Maureen McCormack, who received the Leinster Lifetime Achievement Award last Friday in Allenwood from Scór Náisiúnta chairperson Paula McGee from Co. Down.
Catherine Daly, Leinster Scór chairperson, Áine Kennedy, Leinster Scór Secretary, and Jamie Ó Tuama Oifigeach Cultíur agus Scór Náisiúnta, all attended the presentation.
Maureen is well known in Scór circles, having adjudicated the solo singing, ballad group, and instrumental music at all levels up to All Ireland.
Maureen, who is now in her 80s, currently resides in a nursing home. However, we were all thrilled to have her make the trip to Allenwood for the day to collect her well-deserved recognition.
