Three words to describe yourself as a player: Honest, aggressive (controlled) and a bit moody.
Favourite Sportsperson and why: Cristiano Ronaldo. Nobody performs better in the big games.
Who is the best player you played with? Dermot Early
Best player you played against: Shane Walsh (Galway)
Most memorable sporting moment: Watching Castledermot win the junior championship in 2004 after Donal Kelly getting sent off early in the first half. That victory was a big step for this club and made the underage hungry to succeed and push things on to greater levels.

Best Advice someone has given you: Expect the unexpected and deal with it.
Who’s the most skillful player on your team: James O Reilly in his day. I say the Keating’s or Aaron Murphy be up there now.
Young player in your club that we should look out for?

 

We have quite a few lads to lead this team in the coming years but Liam Cosgrave with a bit more maturity can become something special.
What does it mean to you to captain your club? It means a lot. Very grateful to be playing football and captaining this team. It’s a special club with a hard-working committee that is always trying to improve everything with limited resources.
