Club: Carbury

Position: Centre forward.

Position you would like to play: Anywhere in the forwards.

GAA Honours: Carbury Div. 1 Under 16’s Championship. Leinster Minor Championship 2016.

Three words to describe yourself as a player: Determined, Committed, Confident

Biggest influence on career: Probably my dad and previous managers along the way.

Most memorable sporting moment in a Kildare jersey: Going up the steps in Croke park to lift the Leinster title.

Most memorable sporting moment in your club jersey: Winning the Under 16 Championship.

Who is the best player you have played with: Jimmy Hyland.

Player you most admired growing up: Dermot Earley.

What advice would you give to young players: Keep practicing, no player makes their career from a minor team or development squads.

Best grounds you be played in: Croke park.

Sporting ambition for the future: Hopefully progress on further with the minors and win some trophies and then put on the white shirt for the seniors one day.

What does it mean to you to be Captain of the Kildare Minor team: It is a privilege to be captain of your county and is an experience that I am enjoying.

David and the Kildare Minor team take on Dublin in the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship Semi-Final this evening (July 5th) at 7.30pm in St. Conleth’s Park.
