All-Ireland Glory for Ballymore

Ballymore Eustace handball club rounded off a fantastic year in Roscommon by capturing the Junior B Interclub 40×20 All-Ireland Title. In Curraghboy they comprehensively beat Newport (Mayo) in the semi-final on a scoreline of 60-28. Due to that alley becoming unplayable because of moisture on the walls the final against Ballydesmond (Cork) was moved to St Lomans, Roscommon town. The venue may have changed but the outcome was the same and Ballymore simply outclassed their Cork opponents in every department to win by a 60-22 ace margin.

This crowns a superb year for the club and brings the total of National/All-Ireland titles won to 6 and the number of club members who have captured All-Ireland medals  to 11.
