The recipes set out in this section are designed to be nutritious and healthy as well as appetising.

They are all easy to prepare and most can be stored in the fridge for up to 4 days

The secret to eating healthy is to be prepared, you should set aside a couple of hours preferably at the weekend to purchase ingredients and prepare food.

All the main supermarkets offer deals in meat and vegetables which make it both easy and very affordable to eat healthy.

Food Safety Tips:

All meats should be cooked thoroughly, chilled quickly and stored in the fridge within 90 minutes of cooking.

Food should be stored in airtight containers in the fridge at 5 degrees or below.

Ensure food is re – heated thoroughly and food should only be reheated once.
