On November 15th/16th, Kildare GAA in partnership with Maynooth University GAA hosted three hurling coaching workshops for the current & future hurling coaches within the county.
The workshops were as follows:
- Building A Team Culture Within A Squad
by Derek McGrath (former Waterford Senior Hurling Manager and current RTE Hurling Analyst)
- Coaching the Hurling Principals
by Paudie O’Neill Paudie (former Tipperary Senior Hurling Coach & former National Hurling Director)
- Coaching your Session through a Games Based Model
by Ken Hogan (former All Ireland winning player and All Star with Tipperary)
Over the weekend, the three workshops were attended by large numbers & everyone who attended found them hugely beneficial.
