The Senior Football team and Senior Hurling team both suffered defeats in their opening games in the Bord Na Mona Leinster GAA Series.

Walsh Cup – Round 1 

Kildare 0-09 Laois 1-16

Team: Paul Dermody, Paul Sullivan, John Doran, Dylan Brereton, Diarmuid Cahill, Mark Moloney, Kevin Whelan, Chris Bonus, Brian Byrne; Éanna O’Neill, Paul Divilly, James Burke, Jack Sheridan, Richard Ryan, Cathal Dowling.

O’Byrne Cup – Round 2 

Kildare 0-09 Louth 2-11

Aaron O’Neill, Eoin Powderly, Peter Kelly, Mikey Kelly, Daniel Courtney, Johnny Byrne, Kevin Flynn, Luke Flynn, Kevin Feely, Mark Sherry, David Slattery, Fergal Conway, Chris Healy, Brian McLoughlin, Cathal McNally.

Substitutions used: Eoin Doyle, Keith Cribbin, Neill Flynn, Cian O’Donoghue, Pascal Connell, Tommy Moolick and Fionn Dowling.

Both teams are back in action this Sunday 7th January.

The Senior Football team play Longford at 2pm in Glennon Brothers, Pearse Park Stadium.

The Senior Hurling team play Kilkenny at 2pm in Freshford GAA.
